Why Christian Education?

One must ask the question: “What is the purpose of a school?”

We believe that a school’s ultimate purpose should be to educate children, equipping them to understand life, the world and their place in it. As a Christian school, we also seek to help students understand the meaning and purpose of life, incorporating core Christian teachings and values in all subject areas of learning.

Not only does a school shape a child’s mind, but it also has a profound impact on the heart of the child. Schools educate the emotions and influence the living actions of a child’s life. The power a school has to impress a worldview on a youngster is great.

The goal of Christian education is to guide children towards an understanding that God is at the center of every pursuit of knowledge. Christian schools strive to challenge students towards allowing God to mold their hearts and equip them to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in the world.

So the question then becomes: “What kind of school mission do I want at work in my child’s life?” When faced with this question, the choice for Christian education becomes very clear.
